The primary component of Tongkat Ali is Eurycoma longfolia jack, which contains compounds called phytochemicals. These compounds are responsible for some health benefits associated with Tongkat Ali.

Benefits of Tongkat Ali

Increase in Testosterone

Tongkat Ali increases testosterone levels by suppressing an enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase. This enzyme turns testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which may lead to hair loss and pimples.

By suppressing 5-alpha reductase, tongkat ali keeps your body from making too much DHT, so that your body can use more testosterone to do things like grow muscles and have sexual desire. Tongkat Ali has numerous benefits, including increased sperm counts, motility, and testosterone levels. The Tongkat Ali increases sperm count up to 42%, improving quality at the same time.

One study found that men taking one gram of Tongkat Ali every day for six months had significant improvements in their sperm count and motility, with mean increases in both categories of almost 60%.

Improving Symptoms of ED

Tongkat Ali has also helped in the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men who suffer from low libido or from ED caused by other factors, such as stress or fatigue. In a study, researchers found that men taking 150 mg of Tongkat Ali every day for four weeks experienced improvements in erections, including more frequent morning erections and better-quality sleep, after taking the herb for only two weeks.

Improving Quality of Sleep

Tongkat Ali contains compounds called quassinoid, which can boost your bodys sleep time by up to 68%. The more you spend in REM sleep, the more life-giving energy you will have.

Helps Improve Mood

Women suffering from mood disorders such as depression and anxiety are found to have imbalances of specific hormones. As a result, those hormones are not able to do their jobs properly, which causes these conditions. The hormone cortisol is one of these. Cortisol is a major hormone that influences stress. It helps regulate how the body reacts to stress, but when it gets out of balance, it can cause chronic health problems such as insomnia, weight gain, and anxiety, all signs of depression in women. Tongkat Ali has been shown effective at improving the emotional states of women who are suffering from minor depression or anxiety, balancing out their cortisol levels and restoring hormonal balance. It may also be helpful for low libido and other sexual problems caused by hormonal imbalances.

It contains several nutrients, including zinc, that are essential to metabolism and energy production. Zinc also helps in wound healing and production of red blood cells.

What is Ashwagandha?

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a plant that originates from parts of India and Africa. It is closely related to other edible plants of the Nightshade family, such as tomatoes and potatoes.

Ashwagandha has been used as a tonic in Ayurvedic medicine to treat both the body and the mind, particularly because of its anti-inflammatory properties. Ashwagandha is an herb of Indian Ayurvedic traditions, which has been used for some time as a natural aid to sleep.

It contains a compound called withanolide, which helps to lower anxiety and enhances mood. The roots of the plant are the ones used for medicine.

It is bitter, which is why it is not commonly eaten raw (although some people do). Instead, Ashwagandha is more often found as a capsule or powder.

Benefits of Ashwagandha

The best way to help the body adjust to stress is through ashwagandha. This herb is also known as Indian Ginseng. It contains different compounds which helps your body to deal with stress.

Antioxidant benefits

With its antioxidants, ashwagandha may help to decrease the oxidative damage caused by free radicals. This herb also supports the functioning of the liver, as it helps to excrete toxins and enhance digestion. Ashwagandha has been shown to also help lower symptoms of PMS and other hormonal imbalances in women, as well as reducing inflammation in the body caused by free radicals (which damage cells).

Helps with Insomnia

Insomnia is a problem that is often experienced. Many different things can trigger it, but stress is one of the most common causes. Ashwagandha is an herb used to help decrease insomnia and promote relaxation. Studies also suggest it may also help to promote healthier sleeping patterns.

Helps with Attention and Focus

Ashwagandha helps to support cognitive functions, increasing attention and focus. It enhances memory retention in older adults. Another study showed that ashwagandha helps to sustain and decrease symptoms of depression.

May Boost Testosterone Levels

Ashwagandha may boost testosterone levels and increase muscle strength in men, which may be a perfect support for athletes looking to see an improvement in performance while staying healthy. It is also fantastic at supporting your thyroid function, which produces and regulates hormones throughout your body. Many people struggling with thyroid issues also have lower energy levels and less sexual desire; ashwagandha may help improve those symptoms by balancing hormones.

Can You Take Ashwagandha And Tongkat Ali Together?

Yes, you can take Tongkat Ali and Ashwagandha together. Currently, there is no scientific evidence that suggests that taking Ashwagandha and tongkat ali together causes any adverse reactions. Furthermore, certain testosterone-boosting formulas include both Ashwagandha and Tongkat Ali, suggesting they are safe to consume together. That is, we are all biologically unique, and what is safe for me is not necessarily safe for you. So, if you are not sure, you should always talk to your health care provider.

Tongkat Ali vs Ashwagandha

Well, hopefully, you enjoyed reading this Ashwagandha vs. Tongkat Ali breakdown. They are both epic supplements, that are not overly expensive, and both provide a lot of benefits. Hopefully, by this point, youave made up your mind on which to opt for.

There are many similarities between Ashwagandha and Tongkat Ali. Both are used as an aphrodisiac, and may boost both mens and womens sexual desires. They also share a similar chemical composition, consisting mostly of steroidal compounds. However, there are a few differences between Ashwagandha and Tongkat Ali.

Ashwagandha contains withanolide, while Tongkat Ali does not. Withanolides are like the active ingredients of testosterone and other steroids, which are responsible for increasing sexual desire.

They also help to decrease anxiety and stress, both of which can be big obstacles to health intimacy with your partner. Furthermore, Ashwagandha is known to be more effective than Tongkat Ali at helping men with ED, this can be particularly important if you are looking for a natural alternative to prescription drugs designed for that very purpose.
