How much lion’s mane should you take to receive the benefits?

In another study, published in the journal Food Chemistry, scientists found that consuming 1 gram of lions mane mushrooms per day was enough to provide health benefits. This includes reducing inflammation and boosting cognitive function.

How Does Lion’s Mane Work in the Brain?

Lions mane mushrooms contain a compound called hericium erinaceus, which is known to have potent anti-inflammatory effects. This means that lions mane can help reduce swelling in the brain and other parts of your body. It also contains compounds called polysaccharides that may improve communication between neurons by enhancing nerve growth factor (NGF). And finally, lions mane contains a compound called ergothioneine that is believed to protect neurons from damage caused by free radicals.

Does Lion’s Mane Have Any Side Effects?

Lions mane mushrooms have no known side effects when eaten or taken in supplement form. It’s important not to eat them uncooked, as this can lead to digestive problems.

So, what are you waiting for? Start adding lions mane mushrooms to your diet and enjoy all the amazing health benefits they have to offer!
