Does Turkey Tail Mushroom Help with Endometriosis?
Endometriosis is caused when uterine tissue begins growing in an abnormal locations inside our bodies, like on our fallopian tubes and ovaries. This causes tremendous pain along with abnormal, painful periods, and potentially even infertility.
The causes of endometriosis are unknown. Turkey Tail Mushrooms are a good treatment option for endometriosis. They are by no means a cure, but Studies show that turkey tail mushrooms can help lower inflammation in the pelvis, which is useful for women who have endometriosis, uterine fibroids, dysmenorrhea, and pelvic inflammatory disease (PID).
The Best Medicinal Mushrooms For Symptoms of Endometriosis
Brain fog, stress, Endometriosis Fatigue, for those of us struggling with endometriosis, we have all dealt with them. I have been taking lots of supplements to manage the symptoms of endometriosis, but realized that it was time to introduce more to my diet. I had heard of medicinal mushrooms and the benefits they provide to my endometriosis symptoms, but had never tried them. So, I did some extensive research, and started testing out a new, natural way of treating it by using medicinal mushrooms for endometriosis symptoms.
I focused on the medicinal mushrooms which could help me with the endometriosis fatigue and brain fog, and the secondary benefit of helping me manager my stress.
I am especially interested in turkey tail mushrooms, lion’s mane, reishi, cordyceps, and Chaga mushrooms. I started using the mushrooms about two months ago. At this time, I can say the results have been positive. These pharmacological mushrooms have helped me tremendously in managing the symptoms of my endometriosis.
I felt so much more alive and energetic. I am able to concentrate more at work than I used to.
But I was at first a bit puzzled, and it is not that I did not believe in the natural treatments to my endometriosis symptoms, it was more that I was confused. I wasn’t sure how to explain it. Anyway, medicinal mushrooms are one of my favorite natural treatments for the symptoms of endometriosis.
Living with Endometriosis really can be a struggle, and in order to function as a solid worker, a good friend, and family member, I need to be on medication on a daily basis. But it was not the answer. It can actually be really harmful to your whole health, and those drugs have a lot of side effects.
The medical professionals are not giving us the correct answers on how we can live with Endometriosis without having to have all this crap injected into our bodies. We deserve the opportunity to be a “normal functioning human”. That is a big part of the reason why I wanted to write this blog post.
When I started on my journey into medicinal mushrooms, I was inspired by the stories of others and their experiences with functional mushrooms for a variety of ailments.
What I learned about medicinal mushrooms from experts like Tero Isokauppila and Paul Stamets sounds incredibly promising. My own research has led me to investigate if medicinal mushrooms (I mean the adaptogenic, legal ones) might be helpful for my Endometriosis symptoms. I would like to simply discuss natural treatments for endometriosis.
Because they are real, and they are useful. Please, please realize I am not telling you this is the way to go, I am just shining a light on the fact that nature might hold the answers that many of us are looking for.
Turkey tail, lion’s mane, reishi, cordyceps, and chaga have worked great for me, and are now an integral part of my daily routine. But definitely experiment to see what is going to work best for you.
Why Hormones are Important considering Endometriosis
Our hormones are master controllers of our health and well-being. Hormones dictate if we are capable of being energetic and energetic, inform our mood, digestion, stress levels, sleep cycles, if we are capable of reproduction, muscle growth, weight loss, fighting disease and pathogens, and much more!
In light of our hormonal importance, many major discomforts and problems that people experience are due to hormonal imbalances. Whether we are talking production of serotonin that impacts our moods and states, or cortisol regulation that impacts our stress responses, or the ability to breakdown and use our food as fuel, the firing up of these survival instincts that prevent car crashes, growing as a child into an adult, and even being able to bear children. When our hormones are imbalanced, when homeostasis (balance) is lacking, we experience anxiety, depression, infertility, insomnia, chronic fatigue, an inflammatory state, cardiovascular disease, ageing, cancer, auto-immunity, metabolic diseases, psoriasis, psoriasis, and intestinal issues.
All these are intrinsically linked to endocrine dysfunction, and our endocrine system is our hormonal system. The endocrine system is made up of the key glands that release our hormones, and those hormones send signals to other hormones, cells, organs, and systems for functioning through negative feedback loops. Hormone disruption is becoming increasingly prevalent for women, causing things like endometriosis, infertility, estrogen dominance, early menopause, leading to pain, frustration, poor self-esteem, and confusion.
